Request Action:
Oppose State Legislation regarding regulation of vacation rentals which would preempt it to the State.
Need:
Oppose preemption by the State of vacation rental regulations.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
Two Bills are currently pending in the Florida Legislature which would go against home rule power and would preempt the regulation of vacation rentals to the State, removing cities controls over vacation rental regulations.
