Request Action:

Adopt a Resolution to appoint members to serve on the Young Professional Advisory Board.

 

Need:

To fill positions on the newly established Young Professional Advisory Board.

 

Summary Explanation/ Background:

The Young Professional Advisory Board was established on July 12, 2021 (Ordinance No. 21O-06-121). No appointments have been made to this board and all seats are currently vacant.

 

The following individuals have expressed interest in serving on the board and the individual commissioners have confirmed their interest in appointing them:

 

Appointment of Deleon Hollinger by Mayor Ken Thurston.

Appointment of Jeffery Gibbons by Commissioner Lawrence "Jabbow" Martin.

Appointment of Jessica Coutain by Commissioner Sarai "Ray" Martin.
