Request Action:

Request commission approval for the name change and other minor changes to the job description/position, Senior Park Ranger to Senior City Ranger.

 

Need:

The name change is being requested to more accurately reflect the job functions of the position. Also reference that the Senior City Ranger will serve as Parking Enforcement Specialist and the requirement to obtain that certification.

 

Summary Explanation/ Background:

Originally, this position was created primarily to serve in the City's parks. However, they are now providing services throughout the City; hence the necessary change to the job title.
