Pass a Resolution to approve the Tentative Budget for the Manors Safe Neighborhood Improvement District Fiscal Year 2027 which will be incorporated into the City of Lauderhill Fiscal Year 2027 Budget in the amount of $0.00 for the Condo I Association, and in the amount of $0.00 for the Condo XI Association, and in the amount of $87,459.00 for the Common Area Master Association and in the amount of Zero Dollars ($0) for the Condo XII Association, all the assessments being imposed Fiscal Year 2027.
Need Summary Explanation/ Background:
Florida Statutes, Section 163.5151 requires the Manors Safe Neighborhood Improvement District Board of Directors, before adopting its final budget and setting the millage rate, to submit its tentative budget and proposed millage rate for each fiscal year to the City Commission for approval or disapproval. These revenues are provided for within the District Budget which is incorporated into and becomes a part of the City of Lauderhill General Budget for Fiscal Year 2027. Pursuant to the Statutory requirements, before the adoption of the final budget and millage rate by the District Board of Directors on September 28, 2026, tentative budget and proposed millage rate must be approved by the City Commission of the City of Lauderhill.
This Resolution constitutes the City Commission’s approval of the Tentative Budget as approved by the District Board of Directors prior to the adoption of the Final Budget submitted by the District Board of Directors. Following City Commission approval, the District Board of Directors will consider adoption of its final millage rate and final budget in accordance with Chapter 200, Florida Statutes.
The millage rate of Zero (0.00) Mills and a non-ad valorem assessment of Zero $0.00 for the Condo I Category per parcel per year; and the proposed millage rate of zero (0.00) mills and a non-ad valorem special assessment of Zero Hundred $0.00 for the Condo XI Category per parcel per year; and the proposed millage rate of Zero Dollars ($00.00) and non -ad valorem assessment of Zero Dollars ($0.00) per parcel for the Master Association per parcel per year; and the proposed Millage Rate of Zero (0.0) Mills and proposed Non-ad Valorem Special Assessment in the amount of Zero Dollars ($0.00) per parcel of land per year for the Condo XII Parcels, all which will be designated within the Budget and will be collected utilizing the uniform method of collection on the Annual Tax Bill. The preliminary estimated rate of millage and non-ad valorem assessments was passed via Resolution No. 26R-07-127 on July 14, 2026.
