Request Action:

Approve the purchase using State Law Enforcement Trust Funds from sole source vendors for Keytrak electronic management system ad from Elastec for a portable incinerator.

 

Need:

To approve the purchase and appropriation of state Law Enforcement Trust Funds.

 

Summary Explanation/ Background:

The Police Department has requested authorization to make an expenditure utilizing the State Law Enforcement Trust Funds for the sole source purchase of the KeyTrak key and inventory electronic management system and an Elastec Drug Terminator portable incinerator for use by the Police Department.  The total expenditure would not exceed $22,000.00.  The appropriation of the necessary funds to the appropriate accounts is authorized and approved.  The expenditures are an appropriate use of trust funds.
