RESOLUTION NO. 19R-04-77:  A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LAUDERHILL CITY COMMISSION APPROVING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO RECIPROCAL USE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE SCHOOL BOARD OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA AND THE CITY OF LAUDERHILL TO AMEND EXHIBITS A AND B; PROVIDING FOR TERMS AND CONDITIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE (REQUESTED BY CITY MANAGER, CHARLES FARANDA).

 

 

Body Request Action:  The Parks and Leisure Services Department (PALS) is seeking approval to add the Wingate Oaks Center, a facility owned by the School Board of Broward County, to the Reciprocal Use Agreement to expand youth sports and programming.

 

Need:  The PALS Department understands the need for quality youth sports and programs.  The approval of adding the Wingate Oaks Center will provide additional space for the City of Lauderhill's youth to enjoy more sports and programming in a safe and structured environment. 

 

Summary Explanation/ Background: The PALS Department is focused on continuing to offer and operate quality/safe youth activities to the children of the City of Lauderhill.
