The City Innovation Ecosystem (CIE) program makes implementation grants of up to $15,000 available when financial support aids cities and local nonprofit organizations in achieving their commitments. Cites had to deem eligible to apply for funding based on their high engagement with the CIE Program.
The City of Lauderhill is committed to improving its public procurement policies by investing in the people and communities most affected by systemic economic injustice. Improving access to a public procurement program will accomplish this by educating business owners on the tools and resources available from the City while attempting to remove barriers. The City of Lauderhill chose the Public Procurement commitment to increase access to better procurement opportunities for small, local, minority, and women-owned businesses with Lauderhill.
