Pass a Resolution to rename a portion of N.W. 70th Avenue after Dr. Rev. Melville B. Herron with the Primary Name of "Rev. Herron Avenue" and the Secondary name of N.W. 70th Avenue.

To rename a portion of road.

 

Summary Explanation/ Background:

Reverend Melville B. Herron had a significant impact on the Lauderhill Community. Commissioner Richard Campbell has requested that a portion of N.W. 70th Avenue be named after him to honor his memory and contributions to the City of Lauderhill.
