RESOLUTION NO. 23R-06-141: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LAUDERHILL APPROVING THE SEVENTH AMENDED ANNUAL CALENDAR OF CITY HOSTED SPECIAL EVENTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE (REQUESTED BY CITY MANAGER DESORAE GILES-SMITH).

Request Action:

Adopt a Resolution approving the Seventh Amended annual calendar of Commissioner sponsored events for Fiscal Year 2023.

 

Need:

Event schedules for each Commissioner and the City have been adjusted to accommodate new/canceled/rescheduled events.

 

Summary Explanation/ Background:

RES 21R-10-234 was adopted on November 8, 2021, establishing a procedure and calendar of City Hosted Special Events. Since that time, a list of Commissioner sponsored events for FY 2023 was approved by RES 23R-10-230 and has subsequently been amended. As RES 21R-10-230 requires that any additions to the calendar be placed on the City Commission agenda for approval, this Resolution will be approving the seventh amended calendar to reflect all changes as noted in the attached backup.
