AWARD THE RFP FOR ELEVATOR FIRE ALARM PANELS AT BUILDINGS 1,3, & 7 TO MOTIONS ELEVATOR AS PREVIOUSLY APPROVED BY THE MANORS OF INVERRARY SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD DISTRICT ADVISORY BOARD.
Need:
THE COMMUNITY IS IN NEED OF ELEVATOR FIRE ALARM PANELS AT BUILDINGS 7,1, & 3 TO MEET THE BROWARD COUNTY CODE. THE WORK WILL CONSIST OF BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO A site visit to assess the existing fire alarm panel; Upgrade of the listed elevators to comply with ASME A17.1, section 2.27.3 Firefighters Emergency Operations for automatic elevators; Phase I, Emergency Recall Operations and Phase II, Emergency In-car Operations. Also, upgrade of the existing fire alarms systems to provide connectivity with the elevator. All elevators will need to be brought up to current fire code 602.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
THE SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD DISTRICTS WERE CREATED TO PROVIDE A MORE SECURE COMMUNITY FOR OUR RESIDENTS. THE ISLES OF INVERRARY SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD DISTRICT WAS CREATED IN 2011 BY THE CITY. RESIDENTS IN THIS COMMUNITY VOTED, BY REFERENDUM, TO CREATE THE DISTRICT AND LEVY TAXES TO COLLECT FUNDS TO MAKE THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS SAFER.
