Need:
WITHIN THE RESIDENTIAL MULTIFAMILY (RM-40) ZONING DISTRICT A MULTIFAMILY DWELLING UNITS, ATTACHED USE IS A SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE REQUIRING CITY COMMISSION APPROVAL. THE APPLICANT NEEDS CITY COMMISSION APPROVAL IN ORDER TO OPERATE THE PROPOSED USE.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
A Special Exception is requested to allow in the Residential Multifamily (RM-40) a Multifamily Dwelling Units, Attached Use on a 13.73 Acre Site located at 7730 W Commercial Blvd.
The Subject Property is located at the South West Corner of North University Dr. and West Commercial Blvd. The Subject Property is currently improved with a 174,193 square foot building (previously a Target retail store) which is now currently vacant. The property is surrounded by commercial outparcels. The Application proposes to construct a Multifamily Development consisting of 501 dwelling units.
