Request action:                      Pass an Interlocal Agreement between the Broward MPO and the City

 

Need: The City of Lauderhill’s Planning and Zoning Staff is working with Broward MPO to provide an updated Transit Plan for NW 55th Ave. The Broward MPO requires the City of Lauderhill to provide an Inter Local Agreement between Broward MPO and the City of Lauderhill for Transportation Planning in order to be eligible to submit an Application.

 

Summary Explanation/ Background:

 

The City of Lauderhill has an opportunity to submit for Planning Funding with Broward MPO through the Planning Technical Assistance Program in order to help identify various factors that will help improve the corridor. As such, an Inter Local Agreement is required in order to be eligible to submit an application to Broward MPO by June 30th.

The Division finds the implementation of this Resolution/Ordinance will not require a budget allocation or expenditure of City funds and concludes it does not have any direct fiscal impact on the City’s budget.
