Need:
THE COMMUNITY IS IN NEED OF ELEVATOR FIRE ALARM PANELS AT BUILDINGS 2, 4, 6, & 9 TO MEET THE BROWARD COUNTY CODE. THE WORK WILL CONSIST OF BUT NOT LIMITED TO UPGRADE OF THE LISTED ELEVATORS TO COMPLY WITH ASME A17.1, SECTION 2.27.32 FIREFIGHTERS EMERGENCY OPERATIONS FOR AUTOMATIC ELEVATORS: PHASE 1, EMERGENCY RECALL OPERATIONS AND PHASE ii, EMERGENCY IN-CAR OPERATIONS. ALSO UPGRADE OF THE EXISTING FIRE ALARMS SYSTEMS TO PROVIDE CONNECTIVITY WITH THE ELEVATOR. ALL ELEVATORS WILL NEED TO BE BROUGHT UP TO THE CURRENT FIRE CODE 602.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT ISSUED A RFP for THE UPGRADES TO the elevators on the manors of inverrary property AND RECEIVED TWO RESPONsES. THE manors SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD DISTRICT board voted to select motions elevator to perform the upgrades.
