Request Action:
A resolution is required from the City Commission to approve proposal from Civitas, LLC. and award Bid to said firm, as the only responsible bidder in response to RFQ 2024-018 State and Federal Technical Assistance Consultant; while authorizing the City Manager to negotiate the terms of a contract agreement with said firm.

Why is there a need for this action?
Action is required for selected firm to provide technical assistance for City of Lauderhill grant programs.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
The City has received funding from the federal government to develop viable urban communities by providing decent housing and a suitable living environment, and by expanding economic development opportunities, principally for low- and moderate-income persons. It is the intent of staff to select a firm to provide professional remote and/or onsite, technical assistance for all aspects of program management for the HUD program to maintain compliance with existing and new federal requirements outlined for HUD Programs. Duties entail review and revision of policies and procedures, assistance with setting up and creating activities in IDIS (federal reporting site), NOFA notification compliance, beneficiary data reporting, activity funding, environmental reviews, reporting, drawdown assistance, project feasibility analysis, subrecipient monitoring, etc.
