Request Action:
The City Commission is asked to approve the award RFP 2021-004 CULVERT INSPECTION/CLEANING AND CATCH BASIN SERVICES to HINTERLAND GROUP, INC. NOT TO EXCEED $340,000.00. The Commission is also asked to authorize the City Manager to negotiate a contract with the responsive bidder.
Need:
The cleaning of the culverts and catch basins is a routinely done as a flood prevention so the proper flow of water, especially during significant rain events. In addition, this operation is also connected to the City's co permit tees NPDES.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
A rfp was issued to perform needed cleaning of the catch basins and culverts citywide which will eliminate potential flooding when there are significant rain.
