Request Action:
Commission acceptance to piggyback on the Village of Wellington contract with CC Controls Corporation for the Utility Process Control Contract for emergency support for the City’s Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.
Need:
The current PL Technician supporting the City’s SCADA is on modified duty through FMLA and then will be retiring this year so it is important to have an emergency response plan in place over the next several months.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
CC Controls can make, add, delete, and revise the existing SCADA network to support the wastewater collection system and the Stormwater pump stations. CC Control Corp. is a systems integrator/supplier of control panels, instrument panels, control and instrumentation systems, PLC systems and SCADA system for all types of process controls. After an onsite visit and meeting with all parties, they are confident that they can support our hardware and software configuration with a 30 minute response time.
