Request Action:
Adopt a Resolution to appoint members to serve on the Code Enforcement Board.
Need:
To fill positions on the Code Enforcement Board due to expiration of terms and election of new Commissioners.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
The following board members have served on the Code Enforcement Board and have expressed interest in continuing to serve on the board and the individual commissioner has confirmed their interest in appointing them:
Appointment of Barbara W. Freeman by Commissioner Howard Berger for the remainder of a three (3) year term, expiring November 2021.
Appointment of Sherry Bynes by Commissioner Howard Berger as an alternate member for the remainder of a one (1) year term, expiring November 2019.
Appointment of Aryeh Shender by Vice Mayor M. Margaret Bates as an alternate member for the remainder of a one (1) year term, expiring November 2019.
Appointment of Robert Lynch by Commissioner Richard Campbell as an alternate member for the remainder of a one (1) year term, expiring November 2019.
Appointment of Dwight Hinkson by Commissioner Denise D. Grant as an alternate member for the remainder of a one (1) year term, expiring November 2019.
