Request Action:
A resolution is requested from the City Commission to utilize GL Distributors Inc. which is the local distributor of GH Armor Systems for law enforcement body armor under the State of Florida NASPO Contract #46151504-NASPO-17-ACS which runs from January 2017 to 2021. As such, GH Armor is one of the authorized contractors used pursuant to the State of Florida NASPO Contract and GL Distributors, Inc. is the sole local distributor for GH Armor.
Need:
Currently, the Lauderhill Police Department is using GL Distributors for the GH Armor System and would like to continue utilizing this vendor by piggy backing off of the State of Florida NASPO Contract.
Summary Explanation/ Background:
The State of Florida awarded contracts to several vendors for law enforcement body armor, of which, GL Distributors is an approved state vendor. GH Armor is one of the authorized contractors pursuant to the Florida State Contract which runs from January 2017 to 2021. GL Distributors, Inc. is the sole local distributor for GH Armor.
