Request Action:
A resolution asking for commission to approve the Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) Grant Agreement between the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the City of Lauderhill for the development of Sports Park.


Need:
Commission approval of this Agreement will allow the City of Lauderhill to capture compensation in the amount of $50,000 for the construction of a multi-use court (basketball, netball) at Sports Park.


Summary Explanation/ Background:
In August of 2015, the City of Lauderhill submitted an application to secure funding from the State’s Florida Recreational Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) in order to construct a multi-purpose court at Sports Park.
